Her work explores the relationship between emerging cultural identities and life as performance. With influences as diverse as Wittgenstein and Camus, new tensions are generated from both explicit and implicit narratives. She has always been fascinated by the unrelenting divergence of the moment – what starts out as contemplation soon becomes corrupted into a dialectic of greed, leaving only a sense of unreality and nihilism. As intermittent derivatives become frozen through studious and critical practice, the viewer is left with an epitaph for the inaccuracies of our world.
