Now look, I know those are M&Ms in the picture. I was standing at the queue at my local supermarket, arms chock full because I’m too cool for baskets, when (amazingly) I remembered that I wanted to get a packet of Skittles—you can figure out how that went. Maybe it’s appropriate, HanSolo’s Lemon Zkittles 2 is a bit of a chameleon itself….

As soon as I cut into the packet, the air filled with the mingled scent of litchi and guava. The lemon zest is there in the taste, however, along with berries and, dare I say it, rose water (so kind of like an amazing cake I once had at my favourite café). The buds could have been candied flowers for how they shimmered with crystals. To further butcher the food analogies, the robust deep-amber trichomes—something about carrot cake.

When it came to weighing the strain’s effects, I spent far more time mulling over the smoke than with any other strain I’ve reviewed. I feel unusually focussed, but at the same time completing a thought takes a few tries; its personality feels rather serious, but with an excellent sense of humour. There’s little to no body high (I’m guessing it’s sativa-heavy), and besides the stuttering thoughts, my mind feels alert and active.

This is one of those oddball all-rounders; great for anything from a book or movie, to a study session or an engaging conversation. Lemon Zkittles 2 doesn’t take control, it lets you decide what it’s going to do.
