Man oh man, this stuff had me scratching around my ashtray for more. Suffice to say that Highlander’s Cookies and Cream will always have a very special place in my bowl….

So recently I joined a gym and just about—nearly—quintupled my calorie intake. Being use to subsisting on around 600 calories a day, I found the sudden jump to 2800 quite rough. It’s still a bit difficult, and honestly it removes some of the joy of eating, but I sincerely hope it’s gonna be worth it.

But it’s not all bad when you have a helper. Maybe it’s in the strain’s name (you know, how there’s always room for dessert) but the Cookies and Cream munchies has helped me make quick work of all that egg and rice and oats and tuna and olive oil and peanut butter and— I’m sure you get the picture. The name is in the aroma too: by just sniffing the now (sadly) empty jar the vanilla hues are apparent. Given that it’s a hybrid, you also get whiffs of its cheesy and citrussy ancestors, but overall it has a mild taste and exceptionally smooth mouthfeel. The bud itself is soft and squeezable—practically leaking resin.

Now, this might not be your prime choice if you’ve got to concentrate on your work or if you need an big energetic boost, but it’s actually excellent for a self-conscious nut like me in the gym—the anxiety melts away, leaving me to pump my tiny dumbbells with a smile on my face. Take it from this that Highlander’s Cookies and Cream won’t reduce you to a vegetating lump, but there’s no doubt that it will lift your mood, calm you down, and give you the giggles. Feel free to take a dose before you go to bed for deep dreamless sleep.

Anyway, I’m gonna see if I didn’t dropped some on the floor.
