Pack your bong and burn an offering to the Gorilla God and Highlander, its prophet!

Highlander brings us a growth of an award winning strain, a hybrid of the popular and extremely potent Gorilla Glue and God’s Gift—and let me tell you, it’s like if crack was good for you.

The densely-packed bud I was given is practically oozing resin, in part thanks to the thorough coating of crystals and deep amber trichomes. This is also clear in the aroma: to my delight it tasted like I was smoking dab. Its particular terpenes give it a robust earthy smell, like eucalyptus, camphor, and pine, blended with honey and berries. As I said, the bud is dense and juicy, so a little bit goes a very long way, not only in the volume of smoke produced but also in its potency. On my first hit I lit a bit too much and ended up in a coughing fit, but it was worth it.

Highlander’s Gorilla God lives up to its name, making the utmost out of the strain’s potential. I repeat that this stuff is about as strong as the great ape itself, zapping you with a rush of euphoric energy. If you want to just let the melt take you where you sit then Gorilla God’s got you, but in your uplifted mood you could game, go do something outdoors, engage creatively and intellectually, and you do it all really relaxed. Too much can easily make you restless, so you can make this bud last ages.

In Gorilla’s name,
Amen

(By the way, finding a plastic gorilla for the photo was surprisingly difficult and required the help of not one but two friends trekking all over town in the blazing summer heat.)
